Terms of Use

1. The service

QA Academy offers lessons, quizzes, a test case editor and a Jira training lab for learning manual software testing. Membership is free until further notice. We may change, add or remove content and features, and may introduce paid plans in the future; any change to pricing will be announced in advance and will not charge you without your consent.

2. Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep your password confidential.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
• One person per account; accounts may not be sold or transferred.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or other users’ data.
• Do not copy, scrape or redistribute the course content in bulk or for commercial purposes without permission.
• Do not post unlawful, offensive or misleading material in the test case editor or contact form.
• Do not use automated tools to submit quiz answers or distort results.

4. Intellectual property

The course texts, quizzes, structure and design belong to Insikt QA or its licensors and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your personal learning. Content you create, such as your own test cases, remains yours; you grant us the right to store and display it to you within the service.

5. Educational purpose, no guarantee

The course is for educational purposes. It follows common software testing concepts, including topics aligned with ISTQB Foundation Level, but it is not an official ISTQB course and does not guarantee exam results, certification or employment. Content is provided “as is”.

6. Availability and liability

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, Insikt QA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your statutory consumer rights.

7. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new version. These terms are governed by the law of the country in which Insikt QA is established, without affecting mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
